Outdoor Outreach: Reach the Peak

Most races are about reaching in; this one is about reaching out. On Saturday, November 5th, Outdoor Outreach is hosting their inaugural trail race and mountain festival called: Reach the Peak. Race participants (from beginners to elite competitors) can take part in the following: TRAIL RACE - 4-mile trail with 900ft of climbing. ENDURANCE RACE -run the trail race as many times as possible in three hours. ADVENTURE RACE - 8-mile navigation course through six Black Mountain check-points. KING OR QUEEN OF THE HILL -compete in all three of the above. JUST FOR KIDS - 1-mile loop complete with obstacle stations and games. Upon finishing, participants will enjoy "base camp," a mountain festival with lunch, live music, a beer garden provided by New Belgium Brewery and access to prizes and swag from partners like REI, The North Face and Chaos Hats.
