Culp Valley has some of San Diego's finest bouldering. From its high desert location you will climb with views of the Anza Borrego desert, minutes from your car. Rock is coarse granite. Culp Valley is located within Anza Borrego Desert State Park.

Directions: From Santa Ysabel, head north on Highway 79 toward Warner Springs. Turn right at S-2, left at S-22. Culp Valley is approximately 3.5 miles past the town of Ranchita, and immediately after you pass a campground entrance on the left.
